Greeetings, my name is Tsidi Boroko. I work for communications under stakeholder engagement and public awareness at DFFE. I am participating in this course to learn transformative methods to engage leaners on climate change an environmental sustainability.
Environmental issues that should be a priority in the South African curriculum is water scarcity because the country struggles with water scarcity, droughts like Cape Town’s Day Zero threaten millions while pollution chokes rivers, air, and communities. Biodiversity hotspots like the fynbos biome are shrinking, and climate change fuels disasters like wildfires.
