Fundisa for Change represents a community of practice, working together within a sector-based approach to contribute to the professional learning of teachers.
Environmental Sector Partners
Environmental sector partners contribute to conceptual guidance, development of materials, training of trainers, training of teachers, evaluation and research. They provide relevant environmental sector networking support and environmental content knowledge.
Higher Education Institutions
Higher education institutions contribute to conceptual guidance, development of materials, training of trainers, training of teachers, evaluation and research. They provide teacher education knowledge and system support.
Funding Partners
Funding partners for the Fundisa for Change initiative include Murray & Roberts, the Lewis Foundation, the Deutsche Gesellschaft fur Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) and the Department of Environmental Affairs (DEA).
Participating Partners and Contributors
The Fundisa for Change teacher education partnership programme is made up of national state departments and national environmental organisations.
State and Parastatal Partners
State and parastatal partners contribute with policy sector engagement; funding of activities and support of training programmes; printing and distribution of materials (where possible); communication and network-building support.
